Setting browse options for the file upload field

Upload Mode Configuration

The file upload field provides flexible upload options through two configurable modes when the field is added:
  1. Single Upload – Users can upload one file per submission.
  2. Multiple Upload – Users can upload up to 10 files per submission, with each image not exceeding 10MB.
When Multiple Upload is selected, the Upload Limit property becomes available, allowing you to set the maximum number of files a user can upload between 1 and 10.

Set browse options for the file upload field

The file upload field offers flexibility in selecting the sources from which users can upload files. These options can be configured under the Browse Options section in the Field Properties pane.
The available sources are:
  1. Local Computer: Lets users upload files stored on their device (PC, mobile, and tablet)
  2. ​Zoho WorkDrive: Lets users pick files stored in their Zoho WorkDrive account
  3. Google Drive: Lets users pick files stored in their Google Drive account
Under the Browse Options section, the three available sources are displayed as a multi-select list. You can enable any combination of these sources, ranging from just one to all three.

Follow the steps below to configure Browse Options:
  1. Open the form builder.
  2. Select the required file upload field.
  3. Navigate to the  Field Properties > Browse Options  section on the right.
  4. Check the required choices. You must check at least one of them.
    • Local computer  comes selected by default

    • If you select one of the cloud services and deselect  Local computer , a tooltip will appear. It refers to this limitation .
