Configure approval workflow properties
Workflow Properties
enables you to configure properties such as setting a name for the workflow, description about what it does, setting the criteria, record lock, recall request options, and selecting fields to view in the live application. To configure,

Navigate to the
Approvals
tab on the
Workflows
page. The page will list all the preconfigured approval workflows.

Click the workflow name that you want to configure the properties. The approval configuration page will open.

Click the
Properties
icon in the top right corner of the screen.
The
Workflow Properties
window will slide in from the right. You can configure the following fields in this window.

Workflow Name
This field lets you rename your workflow.

Run this process
The
Run this process
option is chosen as
Always
by default. This means the approval process is executed for every record added in the form. Alternatively, you can specify the which criteria the records should enter the approval process. The approval process will apply to the records that meet the criteria. To set the criteria, choose
On Condition
option and click
Add Criteria
icon. The criteria builder will open in a pop-up window.

Allow submitters to recall requests
The Allow submitters to recall approval requests option is disabled by default. When you enable this setting, the users can cancel the requests/records submitted for approval.

Select fields to show in the live application
All the fields in the form will be visible to the approver in the live application by default. Alternatively, you can choose the fields that you want the approver to see while approving a record. Click the
Add
icon to add the fields. The fields that you add in this section will be displayed to the approver while approving the record.
