Configure Salesforce integration in workflows

Zoho Creator allows data to be automatically pushed to Salesforce on form submission using workflows.
To configure the action:
  1. Select Successful form submission under the When to trigger workflow dropdown while creating a new workflow.

  2. Click the Add New Action block. The Add New Action window will slide in from the right.

  3. Zoho Creator executes the action whenever there is an activity on the form. You can run the action for selected records by setting the criteria. Refer to the Set criteria page to learn more about setting criteria in a workflow.

  4. Select Integrations action type.

  5. Choose Salesforce from the Service list.
  6. Choose Add New Connection from the Connection drop-down field.
  7. Enter a connection name and click Authorize.
  8. The browser will open the Salesforce login page in a new tab. Specify the Username and Password of your Salesforce account and click Log In.
     
  9. Click Allow to authenticate Zoho Creator to access your Salesforce account.
  10. Select the Salesforce action you want to perform.
    The following actions are supported:
    1. Create Account
    2. Create Campaign
    3. Create Case
    4. Create Contact
    5. Create Lead
    6. Create Product
    7. Create Solution
  11. Based on the action you have selected, you can create a connection or select from existing connections:
    1. Add a new connection: Use Add Connection if none exist, or the + icon to add another. The selected action is automatically assigned and cannot be changed. 
    2. Select a connection: Choose an existing Salesforce connection from the drop-down list based on the selected action. 
  12. To authorize the connection:
    1. Select Authorize to authorize any unauthorized connection before continuing.
    2. The browser will open the Salesforce login page in a new tab. Specify the Username and Password of your Salesforce account and click Log In.
    3. Click Allow to authenticate Zoho Creator to access your Salesforce account.
  13. Based on the selection made in the action field, Zoho Creator lists the mandatory and other fields
    1. Mandatory fields - These are the required fields in the chosen Salesforce action that must be mapped to a corresponding field in Zoho Creator. The drop-down lists the fields on your Creator form. Select the required field. 
      Note:  The mandatory fields vary based on the selected service and module.
    2. Other fields - You can map fields in the chosen Salesforce action to the fields in your Zoho Creator form. This is optional. Click Add icon to map more fields.

  14. Click Save to add the action.
  15. Click Done in the top-right corner of the screen.
