2. Availability

Connectors can be managed only by the super admin and developers in Developer Console. The clients who install the applications in Zoho Creator can only authorize and access these connectors.

3. Overview

Connectors in the Zoho Developer Console allow your applications to communicate with third-party services by setting up the necessary parameters for a secure connection. A connection establishes communication with a specific set of permissions granted to designated modules of the connector.

For example, consider Sales Tracker, an app designed to generate periodic sales reports by integrating with Zoho CRM using a connector configured with OAuth2 authentication. This connector automates token refreshing when access tokens expire, eliminating the need for manual renewal codes. By automating this process, Sales Tracker ensures seamless data retrieval without disruption.

4. Built-in connectors

The Developer Console provides a range of built-in connectors that are preconfigured with Developer Console apps for seamless integration with various services. These connectors simplify the integration of connections by performing REST operations with external cloud services, allowing developers and super admins to create connections quickly and efficiently.
