To create a form from scratch, go to the edit mode of the application by clicking on Edit.
- Click + in the top-left corner next to the application name.
- Select Form from the options to create a new component.
- Select From Scratch for how you would like to create your form.
- Enter a name for your form.
- You will be taken to the form builder. Drag and drop the required elements and explore creating your form.

Yes, you can create a form based on existing data.
To create a form from data, go to the edit mode of the application by clicking Edit.
- Click + in the top-left corner next to the application name.
- Select Form from the options to create a new component.
- Select Import with Data to proceed.
- Select the source you want to import data from.
The uploaded file will be used to create the application.
From local storage and URL, you can import .xls, .xlsx, .xlsm, .csv, .tsv, .ods, .mdb, .accdb, .ds, .json, and .numbers files. From cloud services, you can import .xls, .xlsx, .xlsm, .csv, .tsv, .ods, .ds, .json, and .numbers format files.
Are there any limitations on the data that can be imported?
The maximum file size allowed for upload is 2 GB.
For files exceeding 100 MB, please note that only the .csv file format is supported.
Please note that large files might take longer time to be imported, but the upload process can be tracked.

Open the form in Form Builder in the Edit mode of the application.
- Click on the meat ball menu in the top-right corner.
- Select Duplicate in the list of options.
- Name the duplicated form and choose if the data has to be stored in Creator.
The form is duplicated successfully.
When you create a form by
duplicating an existing one, Creator provides you with an option of storing or not storing this duplicated form's data in the application. If you create a form while it's unselected, a stateless form is created. By default, this checkbox will be unselected.
You cannot create a report based on this type of form, as its data will not be saved in the application.
Yes, there are integrated forms.
Integration forms in Creator are a crucial part of connecting Creator to:
- External services like Salesforce, QuickBooks, BigCommerce, etc.
- Internal services like ZohoBackstage, ZohoRecruit, and ZohoCRM.
The information you enter in your Creator integration form will automatically populate the appropriate module of every service that integration forms support. The data entered in the target service's module will be synced with the corresponding integration form's report in Creator for Salesforce, QuickBooks, ZohoCRM, and ZohoRecruit, enabling two-way data sync.
Absolutely! You have the option to involve another service in both Integrated Forms and Regular Forms with the use of integration fields in Creator. Integrated forms are integrated together with two services to enable smooth data transfer between them.
Integration Elements in Regular Forms: Regular forms can also contain integrated elements in addition to integrated forms using integration fields. These components give you the ability to add information from various sources or outside services to your form, thereby increasing its functionality.
