What are field labels and where do they appear in Zoho Creator?
The field name of a field is the text that appears next to its input area in a form. This lets your users know what information they are about to enter in a field.
What is the purpose of managing the field label width in a form?
Managing the field label width helps you control the amount of space that field names or labels occupy when users access your form from a web browser.
Does the label width setting apply to all devices?
No, the label width setting only applies when users access the form from a web browser. It does not impact the appearance of the form when accessed from a phone or tablet.
Can I set different label widths for individual fields on my form?

You have two options for defining the field label width:
- Auto: Zoho Creator automatically determines the label width based on the field with the longest label (default behavior).
- Custom: You can set a specific width in pixels for the field labels.

To manage the field label width in your form:
- Open the form builder.
- Click the Properties icon in the top-right corner to open the Form Properties pane.
- Navigate to Appearance> Label width.
- Choose the desired value from the dropdown below Label width (Auto or Custom).
Can I change the label width after the form is already published?
Yes, you can adjust the label width settings even after the form is published, allowing you to fine-tune the appearance of your form based on user feedback or design changes.
Once the change is live, the label width is adjusted in the published form.
