Permission based reports and a consolidated report
Requirement
Set visibility of forms and reports based on teams.
Management should be able to view all the reports consolidated in to one.
Use Case
A firm tracks its suppliers details using the Supply Management app. The app has four forms. A
Suppliers
form to store the basic information about its suppliers, a
Products
form managed by the Inventory team, an
Agreements
form managed by the Legal team, and a
Logistics
form managed by the Logistics team.
Management should be able to view all the reports in a single place, and each team should
only
be able to view
the team specific form and report.

2. Navigate to
Application Settings,
and
create a permission set
for each team so that they are able to view and access only the relevant form. For example, create a Permission Set named "Legal" and select the relevant form.
Similarly, create a permission set for the other two teams.
3. Add users with the required permission set. For example, when adding users of the legal team, assign the permission set - Legal.
Similarly, add users of other teams and select the corresponding permission set. Each team will be able to access the forms and reports based on the permission assigned.
Now, let's consolidate all the reports in to one, using
Pages.
This page can be used by the management to view all the reports in a single place.
