Mappls map view in Zoho CRM Android app

NotesThe Mappls (Map My India) map view is currently available only for IN (India) data center users.
If your module has the system-defined address field, you can view records with address values on an interactive map. Each record appears as a pin, so you can easily view where your customers or prospects are located.

This helps you plan visits, spot nearby records, and make better location-based decisions.

Prerequisites 
 1. Map View and suggestions for address fields must be enabled in Zoho CRM web app.
(Settings () > Customization > Module and Fields > Preferences > Toggle ON Map View and suggestions for address fields)
     
2.  In-app map view must be enabled in the mobile app settings.

What you can do in the map view

  1. Add record addresses from the map
  2. Search for a location to view matching records
  3. Navigate to a location using Google Maps or Apple Maps

To open map view 

  1. Open the module with the address field.
  2. Tap Map icon ()

Red pin in the map shows single record, whereas purple pin shows multiple records with same address. You can tap on the purple pin to reveal each record.

To add address from map 

  1. Go to the module with address field.
  2. Tap on the address field, then tap the map icon ().
  3. Move the pin to the desired location by:
    • Dragging it manually, or
    • Searching for the location and adjusting the pin.
  4. Tap Add Address.
  5. Go back and save your changes.
 

 To search for a location to view matching records 

  1. Tap the search icon () in the map view.
  2. Enter the location name.
  3. See the records for that location.
  4.  To navigate to a location  
  5. Tap the record pin on the map.
  6. Tap the direction icon ().
  7. You will be taken to Google Maps or Apple Maps based on your map settings.
