Assignment threshold in Zoho CRM Android app
Assignment Threshold in Zoho CRM helps manage the workload of your team by setting limits on the number of records that can be assigned to each user. This ensures a balanced distribution of tasks, preventing any one team member from being overwhelmed, and helps in effective task management across your organization.
Imagine your sales team is handling a large number of lead records after a successful marketing campaign. Without proper distribution, some team members may end up with more leads than they can effectively manage, leading to missed follow-ups and potential loss of opportunities. With the Assignment threshold, you can balance out their workload and also improve your team’s overall performance.
Note: The assignment threshold comes into effect on mobile devices the minute the limits are set up on the web app.
For example, if a user’s threshold is set to 10 records, an alert will appear on mobile when this limit is exceeded, notifying the assignee. If needed, they can then reassign the record to another user with more bandwidth.
This only applies to records created manually. If a record is created through automation, it will be automatically reassigned to the Default Assignee, as configured on the web app.
