Wizards in CRM Android app

Gathering data in a layout with numerous fields can be challenging and may sometimes feel disorganized. This can occasionally lead to errors and affect efficiency.

Wizards offer the perfect solution for this by dividing long forms into multiple, manageable screens, making data entry easier and more organized. You can also save the form as a draft once mandatory fields are completed.
 

Example 

The process of gathering customer data for a bank loan can be simplified by using wizards to divide the information into sections, like:
  1. Personal Details
  2. Financial Details
  3. Residential Details
  4. Employment Details
  5. Loan Details
  6. References and Documentation
Notes
Note:
  1. Wizard configuration must be set up in the Zoho CRM web to access it on the mobile app.
  2. Currently, Wizards is available for Leads, Contacts, Accounts, Deals, and Custom Modules.
  3. Users with an Administrative profile can create, edit, and delete wizard records.

 

To access and use wizards on mobile 

  1. Open the Zoho CRM app.
  2. Go to the module with the wizard.
  3. Tap the Plus icon ().
  4. Select Add (eg: Add Contact).
  5. Tap the layout drop-down at the top.
  6. Select your preferred wizard layout.
  7. Fill in all the necessary information.
  8. Tap the button at the bottom of each screen to move forward.
  9. Save the wizard to complete it.
    Alternatively, tap Save as draft in the top-right corner to keep it unfinished.

Notes
Note: Layout switching is not supported for wizard layout in the Edit and Drafts Screen

To switch screens in a wizard 

  1. Open the Zoho CRM app.
  2. Go to the module with the wizard.
  3. Tap the Plus icon ().
  4. Select Add (eg: Add Contact).
  5. Tap the layout drop-down at the top.
  6. Select your preferred wizard layout.
  7. Fill in all the necessary information.
  8. Tap the icon to switch between screens.
  
 

Managing drafts 

Partially filled records can be saved as drafts for later completion. You only need to fill in the mandatory fields to save your progress.

To access drafts

  1. Open the Zoho CRM app.
  2. Go to the module where the wizard is saved as a draft.
  3. Tap the More icon ().
  4. Select Drafts.

Info: You can also search for drafts using the Name field as a keyword.
 

To delete a draft 

  1. Open the Zoho CRM app.
  2. Navigate to the module where Wizards are set up.
  3. Tap on the More icon ().
  4. Select Drafts.
  5. Swipe left on the draft you want to delete.
  6. Confirm Delete in the pop-up.
