Migrating from Capsule to Zoho CRM
The migration process from Capsule to Zoho CRM relies on APIs and Instance URLs. To initiate the
migration, simply input the API key. The entire migration occurs in the backend, and upon completion,
you'll receive an email notification. You have the option to undo

repeat the migration up to three
times.
Get API token to initiate migration
To get API token
- Log in to your Capsule account.
- Click the account profile icon and then go to My Preferences.
- In the My Preferences page, click on the API Authentication Tokens section to generate the API key.

Migrate data from Capsule
To migrate data from Capsule
- Go to Setup > Data Administration > Import.
- In the Data Migration page, do the following:
- Choose Capsule from the list of available options.
- Enter the API Token.
The instance URL will be auto-populated.
- Click Migrate Now.
You will be notified when the migration is complete via a pop-up and an email.
Supported Modules
The following is the list of modules that will be available for migration from Capsule CRM
- Users
- Accounts
- Contacts
- Deals
- Tasks
- Notes
- Work Items
(Custom module which maps the Project module from Capsule CRM)
- Attachments
- Photos
- Meetings.
Check Data Accuracy
Once the data migration is complete, you will receive an email notification. Please ensure that the data have been accurately imported into the Zoho CRM account by reviewing the
Import History section
(Setup > Data Administration > Import > Import History). Read more about
Import history.
In case you find the import or field mapping results unsatisfactory, you have the option to remove the imported records and perform a fresh import.
