This step entails associating users from your CRM organization as recipients for this commission plan. If their accomplishments meet your plan’s criteria (structure), then they become eligible to receive earnings from this plan.
Just as one user can have different sets of roles and responsibilities, a user can be added as a recipient to multiple plans and can draw commissions from all those plans as and when they become eligible.
Here are the list of good-to-know pointers for your reference:
Recipients are those users at the receiving end of a commission plan.
Adding recipients will not make these recipients eligible for commissions. Commission provisioning will happen only when the criteria is met.
Even though a deal is shared amongst users in a team, the commission value cannot be split based on the levels of contribution. That is, the commission structure is computed for each user based on the criteria and say, if two users have participated in a deal and then each users will receive their commissions upon accomplishing the required tasks.
One commission plan is for one persona only. That is, to have a deal closed, there may be multiple teams and functions participating. Given their participation percentage, the commission structure might change. Therefore, based on each kinds of contributions, one might need as many commission plans.
To add recipients
After you have completed configuring structures, click Next to configuring the Recipients.
In the Recipients page, click Add Recipients.
In the slider pane that appears, choose the users you’d like to add as recipients. These users are being populated from your CRM organization.
Click Save.
If you’d like to remove a user from the recipient list,
In the Recipients list view, select the checkbox near the recipient’s name.
Click on the Remove Recipients button that appears when one or more recipients are selected.
Note:
Removing recipients will remove them from this plan. If that recipient is part of other plans, the respective commission will still be processed.
In the case of employee removed from the organization, they will be removed from the list of recipients automatically.
Removing the selected recipient(s) will stop the calculation of new
commissions and discrepancies (including those related to existing
commission records) for that user, under this plan.
Existing commission records will
remain unaffected.
