Notification SMS integration with Zoho CRM - An Overview

Every business desires to find effective ways to build trust and improve customer experience by streamlining communication directly through customers' everyday devices. While sending email notifications is often the standard choice, in certain cases, email notifications have some drawbacks. Notification SMS has emerged as a more reliable and practical option for communicating with customers. Customers are more likely to read and act on the messages they receive, making SMS a powerful tool for companies to build trust and improve the overall customer experience. 

There can be situations where we need to keep customers up to date on their orders, send account alerts and security notifications, or send reminders for important actions. Again, general service reminders or transaction details are also important to be shared with customers. In these situations, sending an instant SMS notification into their mobile devices with only the related details could be a better choice than an email notification.

All of these can be effectively managed by companies within Zoho CRM right from registering their brand and campaigns to automating these SMS to all the existing and incoming customer records in the CRM.

Automate Notification SMS

After configuring the Notification SMS for your CRM, users can automate Notification SMS using a combination of Workflow rules, Blueprints, and CommandCenter journeys. In Workflow Rules, users can configure the workflow transaction, condition, and choose SMS Notification as an instant action to send SMS messages for the set rules. In Blueprint, for any After transition, SMS Notification will be available to automate its action.

The user can choose an existing SMS Notification or create a new notification.
When creating a new notification, you will only be able to choose from approved templates.

Send Reminder Messages via Notification SMS   

By default, when the admin enables Notification SMS, reminder messages are sent to the user's tasks, calls, and meetings. Users can turn off the reminder messages for themselves by checking the box to Turn off Reminder via SMS in their Calendar Preferences under Reminder SettingsThe admin can disable reminder SMS for all the users in Notification SMS   Preferences in the CRM.
