Working with notes in Zoho CRM iOS app
Notes make it easy to capture your interactions with customers and prospects in CRM. You can add notes to leads, contacts, accounts, deals, activities, and more. These notes are stored as related items under each entry, so all your interaction details stay connected and organized.
You can add notes in the following ways:
- Text notes
- Voice notes
- Voice-to-text notes
Imagine you’re a sales rep at a travel agency managing dozens of leads every day. You have multiple conversations and need to keep track of important details without missing anything.
Without a central place to record these interactions and outcomes, it’s easy to forget or overlook them. By saving these details as notes, you can keep all interactions in one place, quickly refer back to them, and update information whenever needed.
To add text notes
- Open the record.
- Go to Notes under the related list.
- Tap on the
icon
- Type out the note and apply rich text formatting if needed (bold, italics, text color, etc.).
- Tap on the
icon to add any attachments.
- Tap Save.
To add voice notes and voice to text notes
- Open the record.
- Tap on the
icon
- Tap record button to start and stop recording (up to 5 minutes).
- Choose one option:
- Save as Voice Note
- Convert as Text Note
Note: Microphone access is required to record voice notes.
To mail saved notes
- Open the record containing the note.
- Press and hold the note.
- Select mail, and your note will be converted as an email.
- Make changes to the mail, if needed.
- Tap send.
To delete a note
- Open the record containing the note.
- Press and hold the note.
- Select Delete.
- Confirm the delete in the confirmation pop-up
