Record sharing in Zoho CRM iOS app

Great customer experiences start with strong team collaboration. With the Share Record option, users can quickly share records with selected users, roles, groups, or even the entire organization to keep everyone on the same page.

Types of record sharing

Share URL: Share a record via a link to external applications.
Share Record:
Public sharing: Share a record with the entire organization.
Private sharing: Share a record with specific members only.

To share record via URL

Open the Zoho CRM iOS app.
Navigate to the module with the record you want to share.
Open the record.
Tap the More icon () in the bottom-right corner.
Select Share and choose URL.
Choose the platform or app where you want to share the URL.

To share a record within the app

Open the Zoho CRM iOS app.
Navigate to the module with the record you want to share.
Open the record.
Tap the More icon () in the bottom-right corner.
Select Share and choose Record.
Choose the access type: Public or Private.
- If Public: Set permissions as Full Access, Read & Write, or Read Only.
- If Private: Select the users, roles, or groups you want to share the record with and set permission.
Optionally, toggle to share the related list or notify the shared members.

Note: Only profiles with sharing permission enabled can share the record.

To manage record sharing

Open the Zoho CRM iOS app.
Go to the shared record.
Tap the More icon () and select Share.
Choose Record, then tap the More icon ().
Select Manage Sharing.
Edit sharing preferences as needed:
Choose record permission type.
Add or remove the related list.
Set access type to public or private.
Add or remove members.
