Storage in Sandbox

Sandbox environments let you safely test changes without impacting your production data. Each sandbox type comes with defined storage limits.

Sandbox Types 

When creating a sandbox, you can choose one of the following:
  1. Configuration: Includes only setup such as modules, fields, and workflows.
  2. Sample Data: Includes configuration with a small subset of records.
  3. Partial Data: Includes configuration with selected records.
  4. Full Data: Includes complete configuration and all records.

1 GB
Sample Data / Partial Data

Other Storage

File Storage: 1 GB
Email Storage: 1 GB × number of user licenses in production

Notes
Important notes:
  1. Data is repopulated every time the sandbox is rebuilt. 
  2. Data storage in full data sandbox will be updated based on the data consumed in production data storage. 
  3. Changes made to sandbox data cannot be deployed to production.
