Bigin for Zoho CRM
Bigin is a pipeline-centric CRM built to meet small businesses needs. With the Bigin extension for Zoho CRM, you can add contacts, accounts, and deals to Bigin, and manage deals and tasks across modules of Bigin and Zoho CRM. Using this extension, you can make one-way changes in Bigin from within the Zoho CRM.
Installing the extension
You can either go to the Zoho Marketplace and install the extension or log in to your Zoho CRM account and install from there.
To install from Zoho CRM:
- Go to Setup > Marketplace > All.
All the installed extensions will be listed. Under All Extensions, you can view all the extensions supported in CRM. - Click All Extensions, browse through and click Bigin for Zoho CRM.
Details about the extension will be available. - Click Install Now.
- Agree to the Terms of Service and click Continue.
- Choose one of the following and click Confirm.
- Install for admin only - The extension will only be installed in CRM for users with administrator profile.
- Install for all users - The extension will be installed in CRM for all users.
- Choose profiles - The extension will be installed in CRM only for the selected users. Choose this option, click Continue, then select the profiles.
The extension will be installed automatically for the specified users. - In the pop-up, click Authorize.
- In the next pop-up, click Access, then Finish.
Adding records in Bigin from Zoho CRM
You can add records in the Contacts, Accounts, and Deals modules of Zoho CRM to the Contacts, Companies, and Deals modules of Bigin, respectively. For Contacts and Accounts being added, you can also add Deals and Tasks to those records in Bigin from Zoho CRM.
To add Contacts and Accounts to Bigin
- Go to the Contacts or Accounts module in Zoho CRM.
- Open the desired record you want to add to Bigin.
- Click Add To Bigin button.
The details about the contact or account selected will be displayed. - Click Save.
- Under Activities, fill the necessary details and click Save.
- Under Deals, fill the necessary details and click Save.
The corresponding tasks and deals will be added to the corresponding record in Bigin.
To add Deals to Bigin
- Go to the Deals module in Zoho CRM.
- Open the desired record you want to add to Bigin.
- Click Add To Bigin button.
- In the pop-up, you will be asked to add a Task to that record.
- Click Next.
- Under Activities, fill the necessary details and click Save.
- Under Stage History, changes in the deal stages will be updated.
The corresponding activities will be updated to the corresponding record in Bigin.
Customize adding records
You can add new Contacts, Accounts, and Deals created in Zoho CRM to Bigin simultaneously and automatically by setting up workflow rules in Zoho CRM. The workflow rules should be set up individually for the Contacts, Accounts, and Deals modules.
To set up workflow rules for Contact module:
- Go to Setup > Automation > Workflow Rules.
- Click Create Rule.
- In the pop-up, select the Contacts Module, enter Rule Name and Description.
- Click Next.
- Under When, select On a record action > Create > Next.
- Under CONDITION 1, select All Contacts > Next.
- Click Instant Actions, select Add Contact to Bigin.
- Click Configure.
- Enter a Name, and click Save.
- Click Save.
The new rule will be created in Zoho CRM.
Follow the same steps to set up workflow rules for the Accounts and Deals modules individually by selecting the respective modules.
Uninstalling the extension
Should you wish to uninstall the extension, please note that all the data will be deleted on uninstalling and cannot be recovered.
To uninstall the extension:
- Go to Setup > Marketplace > All.
All the installed extensions will be listed. Under All Extensions, you can view all the extensions supported in CRM. - Browse for Bigin and click the corresponding Uninstall link.
- Click Ok to confirm.
The extension will be uninstalled and all the related data will be deleted.
