Locating records from Zoho CRM

You can locate multiple records simultaneously from your Zoho CRM using this extension. You can plot up to 100 records at a time from the Leads, Contacts, Accounts, or Deals modules.

Records can be plotted from only one module at a time. You can locate the selected records based on area, last visit date, or both.

To locate records:
  1. Open the Leads, Contacts, Accounts, or Deals module.
  2. Select the records you want to locate.
  3. Click the Map Plotter button.

The map will open and display the locations of the selected records. The locations are plotted based on the address details available in the corresponding Zoho CRM fields.

Filtering records by area

You can filter the plotted records based on a specific area.

To filter records by area:
  1. Click the filter icon, followed by the Map by Area option.
  2. Select the required area from the list. The available areas for the selected records' addresses will be listed. Once an area is selected, only the records for that area will be shown on the map.

Filtering records by last visit date

You can also filter the plotted records by last visit date.

To filter records by last visit date:
  1. Click the filter icon, followed by the Map All Records option.
  2. You can filter the records visited in:
    1. Last 30 days
    2. Last 60 days
    3. Last 90 days
    4. Custom (Specific date range)
When you select Custom, specify the From and To dates to view records visited during a specific date range.

Both area and last visit date filters can be applied simultaneously. This helps you narrow down records by location as well as recent activity.

Viewing record details from map pins

Each plotted record is shown as a pin on the map. Click a pin to view additional details about the corresponding record.

The pin pop-up displays key information about the record, helping you quickly understand the record details without navigating away from the map. You can also use the available filters while viewing the records on the map to refine the displayed results.

Viewing records in the Web Tab

The Map Plotter extension also allows you to view plotted records in a dedicated Web Tab. This provides a larger map view and helps you analyze record locations more conveniently.

You can open the Web Tab from the map view and continue viewing the selected records on a separate page. The Web Tab is useful when you want to review multiple records, apply filters, and analyze location-based data in detail.

To view records in the Web Tab:
  1. Select the records from the supported module.
  2. Click the Map Plotter button.
  3. In the map view, click the option to open the map in the Web Tab.
The selected records will be displayed in the Web Tab map view. You can use the available filters to view records by area, last visit date, or both.

Notes
Note:
  1. Only records with an address will be pinned on the map.
  2. In the Contacts module, the mailing address will be considered for plotting the record, and not the billing address.
  3. In the Accounts module, the billing address will be considered for plotting the record, and not the other address.
  4. In the Deals module, the billing address associated with the account tagged to the deal will be considered for plotting the record.
  5. If a record does not have the required address details, it will not be displayed on the map.
