Idle Deal Alert - Online Help - Zoho CRM

Idle Deal Alert

The Idle Deal Alert extension for Zoho CRM helps you identify deals that have been stuck in a particular pipeline stage for too long.

This extension alerts you whenever a deal is stuck in the pipeline for too long, allowing you to address it before your window of opportunity closes. When this extension is installed, you will see the Idle Alert Settings tab and the Scheduler, which checks for dormant deals and sends alerts on a day-to-day basis.

You can either go to the Zoho Marketplace to install the Idle deal alert extension or log in to your Zoho CRM account and install it from there.

  2. Provide a name for the alert.
  3. Fill in the timeout period for each stage.

The settings will be made active. The scheduler will be triggered at 8:15 AM (in your time zone) every day.
Once the configuration is complete, an alert will be generated whenever a deal exceeds the timeout period.

Configure multiple timeout periods

You can configure multiple timeout durations for a single stage.

For example, if you want to receive alerts on the fifth, tenth, and fifteenth days a deal is in the Negotiation stage, you can do so by creating individual records in the Idle Alert Settings tab, setting the Negotiation stage to 5, 10, and 15.
