Installing the extension

1. Navigate to Setup > Marketplace > All.
   
2. Under All Extensions, browse for and click Kanban Board.
   The details about the extension will be available.
3. Click Install.
   
4. Agree to the terms of service and click Install.
   
5. In the following screen, confirm the login user, agree to the terms of service, and click Continue to Install.
   
   
6. Choose one of the following, then click Confirm:
   
1. Install for admins only - The extension will only be installed in CRM for users with administrator profiles.
   
2. Install for all users - The extension will be installed in CRM for all users.
   
3. Choose profiles - The extension will be installed in CRM for manually chosen users. Choose this option, click Confirm, then select the desired profiles.
   
   

Create a new Kanban board

1. Create a record - You can create a record for the same module based on which the board is created.
   
2. Move records to another column - This means you can simply drag and drop a record and update the field value. The record gets updated based on the column you move it to.
   
   
3. Delete a record - By clicking on the delete icon, the record will be deleted.
   
4. View a record's details - Access the full details of a record by clicking on it.

1. Click the Kanban Board module.
   
2. Select the drop-down list and click Create Kanban Board.
   
   
   
3. In the pop-up box, do the following:
   
1. Enter a Board Name.
   
2. From the drop-down list, select the Module for which you need to create a board.
   Custom modules will also be listed here.
3. Select a picklist fields from the Group By drop-down list.
   All the picklist fields from the selected module will be listed.
   
   
4. Click the Edit Card Color Settings option and choose the desired color for the column. If no color is chosen, the default color will be retained.
   
   
5. Select the corresponding checkbox if you want to Make Kanban Board visible to everyone.
   
6. Under Filter By, choose Records or List View. Based on your selection, records will be displayed in the Kanban Board.
   
7. For Deals and Tasks modules, you will be provided with Sort By option.
   
8. Select the Card Title, Card Name, and Card Tags. These are the values displayed in the record's summary in the Kanban Board.
   
9. Click Save.

Note: For existing users, the default colors will be applied to all the boards upon updating the extension to the latest version. Users can change the colors using the Edit Card Color Settings option.

Edit or delete a Kanban board

1. Click the Kanban Board module.
   
2. Select a board from the drop-down list.
   
   
3. In the pop-up box, make the necessary changes and click Save.
   
4. To delete, click on the Delete button.

Uninstall the extension

1. Navigate to Setup > Marketplace > All.
   All the installed extensions will be listed. Under All Extensions, you can view all the extensions supported in CRM.
2. Browse for Kanban Board and click the corresponding Uninstall link.
   
3. Click Ok to confirm.
