Creating Profiles
Default Profiles
By default, two profiles are provided. You can only change the permissions for org modules and no other customization is possible. The two default profiles are :
- Administrator Profile : This profile has access to all the features in the Zoho CRM account.
- Standard Profile : This profile has limited access to the features in Zoho CRM account.
Create Profile
- Go to Setup
> Security Control > Profiles.
- Click New Profile.
- In the Create new profile page:
- Enter the name of the new profile.
- Choose the profile which should be cloned.
- Specify a Profile Description, if needed.
- Click Create.
- Once created, you can enable or disable the different permissions for that profile.
Clone Profile
At times, you may want to clone profiles to create similar ones and customize them as needed. To clone a profile:
- Go to Setup
- Hover over the profile you want to clone and click on the more icon

- Click Clone.
- Continue from step 3 in Create Profile instructions.
View Profile Users
- Go to Setup
- Hover over the profile you want to clone and click on the more icon
- Click View Users.
