Agents in Homepage

Agents in Homepage

Your agents run quietly in the background, flagging important leads, deals, and updates. But their findings live inside each agent, so seeing away from the Home page where you actually start your day. It is easy to lose track of what an agent surfaced. The Agents component fixes this: add an agent to your Home page and its insights sit right alongside your dashboards, views, and reports, ready to act on when you start the day without leaving your home screen.

Add agents to your Home page

  1. Go to Setup > Customization > Customize Home page.
  2. On the Customize Home page screen, click an existing home page to edit it, or click Create Home Page to build a new one.
  3. In the home page editor, open the Agents tab on the left panel, listed along with Customize, Widgets, Kiosk, Reports, and Advanced. Every agent configured in agents section in CRM appears here.
  4. Drag an agent from the list and drop it onto the home page grid.
Note: The agent is added as a component showing the agent's name along with its insights table. You can add more than one, so the agents you use most can sit together on the page. Each agent you add is removed from the available list.
  5. Arrange the components as needed, then click Save. A confirmation message appears once the home page is updated.
  6. Open your Home page and select the home page from the layout dropdown at the top right. Each agent component shows the agent's name with a refresh control beside it. Click it to run the agent and load its current insights.

The agent stays on the page with its insights, ready each time you return. You can refresh it for the latest data whenever you need.

Info

Points to remember

  1. Each time you click Get Agent Insights or refresh, the agent runs and consumes your agent credits. Adding an agent to your Home page, or simply opening your Home page, does not consume any credits on its own.
  2. Agents that require field mapping at trigger time will not appear in the Agents section on the homepage.
