Convert units

DataPrep offers special operations to meet unique requirements with transforming data. For example, if you need to share your dataset with different regions which use different standards of measurements, you can use the Convert units special transform.

Convert units can be used to bring uniformity to data from different regions which use different units of measurement.

Note : This transform is available for Length and Temperature data types at present.

To convert units

1. Right-click the required column and select Convert units transform from the context menu.

2. Choose one of the units from the options listed in the Studio panel to convert the values to.

3. A live preview will be shown in the data grid as you choose an option.

3. You can also apply this transformation to multiple columns.

4. Click the

icon under Columns to apply to choose more columns.

5. Click Apply to apply this transform.
