1. What are "rows processed"?
A row can be defined in the context of a dataset. In simple terms, a dataset consists of rows (records) and columns (fields). Each row in a dataset represents a set of related data and has the same structure. For example, in a dataset containing employee data, each "row" would represent a single employee record.
In Zoho DataPrep, the total number of rows that are processed are counted towards "rows processed" for your plan. You can monitor the number of rows processed from the Manage Subscription page in DataPrep. The "rows processed" count is reset at the beginning of your billing cycle, every month.
2. How do you calculate "rows processed"? What rows are counted towards "rows processed"?
In Zoho DataPrep, the total number of rows that are processed are counted towards "rows processed" for your plan.
When data is imported and processed in your data pipeline - either when you build your data pipeline by adding stages, or adding rules in a stage, or when you run the pipeline, the "rows processed" count will increase.
The rows that are processed includes, rows being processed for performing Join, Append, Pivot, Unpivot transforms will be counted towards "rows processed, and any intermediate stages created thereof, where the number of rows processed to create/update the child stages will also be additionally counted towards "rows processed".
Note:
1. If you download the output data from job history, it will not increase the "rows processed" count.
2. The "rows processed" count is reset at the beginning of your billing cycle, every month.
3. Who is a "user" in Zoho DataPrep?
Anyone who is added to your account is considered a "user" in Zoho DataPrep. They can import and prepare data in pipelines, collaborate, and share data with others, and more based on the shared entity. A user is identified by their unique email address using which their Zoho DataPrep account was created.
If you subscribe to a Zoho DataPrep plan for 3 users, you can add 2 other users. Now your Zoho DataPrep account has 3 users including yourself.
Users can be in different states and only the active users who are invited to be a part of your organization are counted towards license.

Consider the Org A has downgraded to Free plan on the 20th of that month, with 1.5M rows processed already. After this downgrade the new limit is now 20K per month. Since the rows processed for the month (current billing cycle) already exceeded the limit, no more rows can be processed till the 1st of the next month.
13. What happens to "data sources" after I downgrade to a lower plan?

If there are more than allowed data destinations added in pipelines, you won't be able to add anymore destinations to your pipelines or perform pipeline runs till the count is reduced to the current plan limits.
15. What happens to processed data when I downgrade to a lower plan?
The processed data older than a month in the case of downgrading to the Free plan, or two months in the case of downgrading to a lower Standard plan, will be permanently deleted immediately to free up space needed for you to run any data preparation flows further.
16. What happens to shared users and entities when I downgrade to the Free plan?

You will still be able to view the user groups and shared entities across DataPrep for the next 45 days after which all the deactivated users and the share configuration will be permanently deleted if you do not upgrade to a paid plan within this duration.
The unsupported transforms will not continue to work, and will be listed in error in your ruleset. You can either disable them or remove them from your ruleset to continue with your data preparation process within the limits of the Free plan.
