Assign Tasks - Zoho Desk Knowledgebase

Assign and Manage Task Owner

The agent who creates the task should assign the owner to it. However, you can re-assign tasks to yourself or other agents when required. Please, note that tasks can also be assigned through automation rules like workflows and macros. 

To re-assign tasks:
  1. Click the Activities module.
  2. In the Activities Home page, click Tasks on the bottom of the left panel.
  3. Open the task for which you want to re-assign ownership.
  4. In the Task Details page, click the Task Owner field. 
  5. Select an agent or a team from the drop down list.

The task is assigned to the specified agent or team.
