The DocuSign extension for Zoho Desk lets you and your customers electronically sign envelopes from your Desk tickets. Whether you are approving a purchase, closing a sale, or signing an agreement, you can do it electronically with DocuSign. This integration also allows you to see a list of all the documents sent to each customer.
Installing the Extension
The DocuSign extension can be installed from the Zoho Marketplace or from your Zoho Desk account.
To install the extension
- Log in to your Zoho Desk account with Administrator privileges.
- Click the Setup icon ( ) > Integrations > Marketplace.
- Select the DocuSign extension and click Install.
- In General Settings page, select the Departments and Profiles whose agents can access the extension.
- Agree to the Terms of Use and click Install.
Click Authorize in the pop-up and sign in with your DocuSign credentials.
- Click Save.
Sending Envelopes from Zoho Desk
You can use the DocuSign extension to send envelopes to your customers and have them sign them, all in Zoho Desk.
To send envelopes:
- Click Tickets in the top band (menu bar).
- Open a ticket from the list.
- Click on the ( ) icon in the right-top corner.
The Send Envelope page will open in the right panel.
- Select the envelope to share.
- The email address will auto-populate from the ticket. If it does not, you can enter it manually.
- Enter a subject.
- Set the Expiry Duration for the document.
- Set the Reminder Duration for when to remind the customer.
- Click Send.
- Click Yes if you want to be taken directly to the signature location in the document.
The document will open in a new pop-up. Otherwise, click Send Anyway.
Viewing Envelopes in Zoho Desk
The full envelope list from DocuSign can be viewed from two different locations in Zoho Desk The top band or the Ticket Detail subtab.
Viewing DocuSign data from the top band
- Click on the icon in the top band (menu bar).
- Under Extensions, click DocuSign in the drop-down menu.
- Under Envelops, all the envelopes that have been shared to the customers so far will be listed.
Viewing DocuSign data in a ticket's detail page
- Click Tickets in the top band (menu bar).
- Open a ticket from the list.
- Click on the icon located in the subtab of a ticket's detail page.
- Click DocuSign.
Under History, the status of all the envelopes shared so far with that particular customer will be displayed.
- Click Revoke to withdraw an envelope that has been sent.
Enter the reason for revoking it and click Revoke.
Uninstalling the Extension
You can uninstall the DocuSign extension at any time. Once uninstalled, your agents cannot print ticket conversations in Zoho Desk.
To uninstall the extension:
- Go to Setup> Integrations > Marketplace.
- Under Marketplace, click Installed Extensions.
- Choose DocuSign from the list of extensions.
- Click the More icon ( ) in the top-right corner of the page.
- Select Uninstall Extension.
- Click Confirm to uninstall the extension.
