The Zoho Desk app opens the door for easier navigation of tickets and addressing customers' concerns quickly. The app allows them to attach data in the form of photos, files, voice notes, scribbled notes, and documents to the tickets, comments, and activities to facilitate the easier exchange of information.
The Scan feature lets users scan and upload images or text as documents, then attach them to the tickets, comments, and events or tasks. They can either manually scan the document or use auto-capture, where the software will crop and scan the image. Users can also upload an image from the gallery to convert it into a document.
Note: The scanner will only accept .jpg format. If the uploaded image is in .png, the scanner will automatically convert it into .jpg.
For Tickets
- On the home screen, tap the Add icon .
- In the Add Ticket page, tap the Attachment icon .
- In the Ticket detail page, tap the Comments icon > Attachment icon .
For Activities
- In the Ticket Detail page, tap the Activities icon .
- Open the activity, click the Attachment tab, then click the Attachment icon .
- On the attachment page of the feature, click Scan.
4. Select Capture image or Attach an image from Gallery.
5. A preview of the captured or attached image will be shown. You can crop, clean, retake, delete, or add filters.
6. After making the necessary changes, click Done.
7. You can rename the document, if needed. When you're done, click Upload.
