Attaching a File in iOS

The Zoho desk app allows the users to include important details in the form of photos, files, voice notes, scribbled notes, and documents within the tickets, comments, and activities to facilitate the easier exchange of information. 

Attaching details to tickets, comments, and activities

For tickets

  1. In the Ticket Views page, tap the Add  icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Tap the Attachment  icon to attach the file to the ticket directly.

For ticket replies

  1. In the ticket detail page, tap Reply (either from the More  icon in threads, or the Reply  icon) 
  2. Tap the Attachment  icon to attach the file to the ticket directly.

For comments

  1. On the Ticket detail page, tap the Comments  icon  > Attachment  icon. 

For activities

  1. In the Ticket Detail page, tap the Activities  icon.
  2. Open the activity, click the Attachment tab, then click the Attachment  icon . 
The user can then tap on the desired format to attach the appropriate files to the tickets, comments, or activities.  
To upload images, the users can use Camera option to take the photo and then upload it option. The users can attach voice messages using the Audio option, any minute detail or notes using the Scribble option which is supported by the Apple Scribble Kit, any type of file from their phone's internal storage or Google Drive using the File option, any type of file stored in iOS's storage using Browse or scan and upload images or text as documents using the Scan option. 


The user can tap on the icon, to make their attachments either public or private, and to view the attachments either in the list view or grid view.
