Audit Log in Radar: Track Every Help Desk Action on Mobile

Audit Log in Radar

Every action in an app leaves a trace. Audit Log captures those traces and presents them in an organized way, so you always know what changed, when it happened, and who made the change.

With the Audit Log card now available in Radar, you can monitor the app's activity directly from your mobile device. It keeps a detailed record of all the user actions and system-level updates across the help desk, helping your team stay informed, maintain accountability, and understand exactly how the system is being used.

What does the Audit Log capture?

Each log entry gives you a complete picture of an action, including the event and the full context around it.

Why the Audit Log matters

The Audit Log supports each of its users in distinct ways.

For team leads, it means clarity. They can easily verify whether an action was performed, track updates to tickets, and see who made specific changes.

For managers and supervisors, it means insight. With a detailed log of every action across the app, managers can identify workflow gaps, monitor changes, and make better decisions based on actual system activity. For example, if ticket resolution times suddenly increase on a given day, the Audit Log can help trace what changes occurred and who performed them.

For administrators, it means compliance and security. They get a reliable record of configuration changes and administrative actions. For example, if an SLA policy is modified, a department is deleted, or user permissions are updated, the Audit Log clearly records who performed the action and when. This ensures transparency and supports internal audits or compliance reviews.

Notes
Who can access the Audit Log?
The Audit Log is a high-privilege, system-wide tracking feature; therefore, access is restricted to users with the Support Administrator profile to ensure security and control.
