The ASAP (App Support Across Platforms) help widget in Zoho Desk is a stand-alone application that provides users with an in-app self-service platform. It works in tandem with your business and allows you to to integrate help center features directly within your business application, eliminating the need for customers to navigate to a separate support page. This way, your customers can access knowledge base (KB) articles and other support resources within your product or website. This significantly reduces customers' time searching the knowledge base for appropriate articles, and provides them with essential context whenever needed.
After creating your ASAP help widget, the next step is to make it available on various platforms, such as the web, iOS, and Android. This ensures that your customers receive consistent and efficient support, no matter their platform or device. First, you must install or embed the widget in the applicable platforms.
- Open the desired ASAP widget and navigate to the Installation tab.
In the first instance, the installation tab will open automatically after creating an ASAP add-on.
2. In the Installation window, follow the steps given below for web, Android, or iOS, as required.
3. Paste the code snippet provided before the body tag of each page where you want the help widget to appear. Alternatively, you can send the ASAP widget URL to your customers via email or SMS, allowing them to access it directly without navigating your website.
You can also install the ASAP add-on using a web framework or third-party integration for convenience.
