Editing a GC Flow
For example, in the image below you can see the notification bar showing the number of blocks that are not supported.
Steps to edit flows
Go to Setup > Self Service > Guided Conversation > GC Flows.
Select a Flow, click the More icon and select Edit.
In the Edit Flow page, check or uncheck the desired channel.
Change the Flow Name and Description if needed.
Click Update FLow.
Points to notes when editing a flow:- If you edit a published flow, you must re-publish it for the changes to take effect.
- If you edit a published and embedded flow or block, you must re-publish the flow for the changes to take effect.
- If you edit a block while an end user is engaged in a live session with the bot, the previous version of the flow will be rendered until they restart the conversation.
- After making changes, it is necessary to republish the flow for those changes to be reflected in an end user's session.
- If a change is made to an input variable, it will be automatically updated across all flows where the variable is used.
- If the flow is edited, the flow metrics will reset and start fresh. You can look for the metrics for the last 10 versions of the flow in Version History.
