Add an embeddable Business Messaging chat bubble to your website

You can handle your customer questions instantly from a dedicated Business Messaging channel facilitated by Zoho Desk. This feature also allows businesses to communicate the latest trends, track their sales, and more. The Business Messaging user experience is simple, familiar, and relatable, and has the potential to accelerate the adaptation of instant messaging for effective business communications.

The embeddable button allows your website visitors to engage with your business whenever they want.
It also frees the customers from waiting for answers to their most pressing concerns and questions.

How to add a Business Messaging chat bubble to your website

To set up the embeddable message bubble, you will need the details of the linked Business Messaging widget. The details will generate a unique code snippet for the associated BM account.

There are three platforms on which you can enable your customers to contact you via the Business Messaging chat bubble by setting it up as a chat option on your website.

Regardless of which platform you choose, you have to start by generating a Business Messaging Embed Code:

1. Navigate to the Setup icon (

) in the top bar.

2. Select Instant Messaging under the channels option.
3. Select Business Messaging Channel.
4. Click on Configure.
5. Select the channel for which you wish to set up the embeddable chat bubble.
6. Click Generate Business Messaging Embed Code by hovering over the Channel options.

1. Web

Copy and paste the code snippet before the body tag on the relevant pages if you want the Business Messaging widget to appear instantly for the website users. You can also enter a pre-filled message on your website to welcome users and start posting their questions.

2. iOS

Use the iOS SDK to integrate the Business Messaging widget into your existing application seamlessly.

To initialize the SDK on your app, use the following keys:

Org ID
App ID
Domain

On the right, you can see the customized Chat Bubble Preview, where you can review and copy the generated keys.

3. Android

Use the Android SDK to integrate the Business Messaging widget into your existing application seamlessly.

To initialize the SDK on your app, use the following keys:

Domain

On the right, you can see the customized Chat Bubble Preview, where you can review and copy the generated keys.
