Transfer organization ownership
The user who signed up for the Zoho Directory account is the owner of the organization, and will remain so until transferring the role to a different user.
Only the current owner can transfer ownership to another user. Admins CANNOT perform this operation. If the user assigned as
Organization Owner left your organization, you can write to us at
support@zohodirectory.com and we will help you with the owner change.
To transfer ownership
- Sign in to Zoho Directory, then click ADMIN PANEL in the left menu.
- Click ORGANIZATION, then click Change Owner under your name and email address.
- Choose the new owner in the window that pops up.

- Click Change.
