Advance Settings

Prerequisites:
Ensure that you have any one of the following privileges to perform the actions:
  1. Organization Owner
  2. Organization Admin
  3. User with a Custom Role to perform this action

Manage deactivated/deleted users of third-party apps in Zoho Directory

  1. Sign in to Zoho Directory, then click Admin Panel in the left menu.
  2. Go to Directory Stores, then select the third-party app for which you have got enabled this settings.
  3. Under General Settings, locate the Status Sync section, select the Change in Zoho Directory option to sync user's status from the third-party app to Zoho Directory.
  4. Choose the preferred action when users are deleted in the third-party app:
    1. Deactivate in Zoho Directory: The user's account becomes inactive and cannot access Zoho Directory.
    2. Delete in Zoho Directory: The user's account and access are completely removed from Zoho Directory.
  5. Choose the preferred action when users are deactivated in the third-party app:
    1. Deactivate in Zoho Directory: The user's account becomes inactive and cannot access Zoho Directory.
    2. Delete in Zoho Directory: The user's account and access are completely removed from Zoho Directory.
  6. Click Save and Next to apply your changes.


Notes
You can sync the groups in a third-party app with Zoho Directory using Group Sync. If users are removed from the synced group in the third-party app, then those users can be deleted/deactivated in Zoho Directory. This functionality can only be enabled in the backend upon request.
