Permission to update your domain's DNS records in your domain registrar's Domain Manager.
The Custom Domain feature allows you to promote your organization's name by customizing the URL that is used to access Zoho Directory. With it, we'll map the domain of your choice to access the apps you've configured in Zoho Directory.
You can add a custom domain in the format <subdomain name>.<your domain>.com.
App: Your subdomain name
Your company name: Your domain
For example, if the domain you're adding is zylker.com, and the subdomain is Zoho Directory, your URL will look like directory.zylker.com instead of directory.zoho.com.
Steps to add a custom domain:
Sign in to Zoho Directory , then click Admin Panel in the left menu.
Go to Organization, then click Custom Domain.
Click Map Custom Domain.
Add your custom domain name.
Copy the displayed CNAME record from the verify domain screen.
Sign in to your domain hosting site and open your Domain Management page to update the DNS records.
Add a CNAME record as given below:
Name: Your subdomain name
CNAME: Add the copied CNAME record to your Domain Manager, then wait for an hour.
Go back to the Custom Domain tab in Zoho Directory and click Verify.
Steps to delete custom domain:
Go to your Domain Manager and delete the CNAME record.
Go to Zoho Directory , and click Organization from the admin panel.
Click the Custom Domain tab.
Click Delete under the required custom domain name.
Click Delete in the pop-up.
