In G Suite: Install app and define scope

1. Sign in to Google Admin Console, then click Apps in the left menu.
   
2. Click Google Workspace Marketplace apps, then click Apps list.
   
3. Click INSTALL APP.
   
4. Search for Zoho Directory and open the app installation page.
   
5. Click Admin install, then click Continue. The application will be installed within 24 hours for all users in your organization.
   

If you have already installed Zoho Directory for your organization

If you have already installed Zoho Directory from Google Marketplace, you must enable the required scope for Zoho Directory in G Suite. To do this:

1. Sign in to Google Admin Console, then click Apps in the left menu.
   
2. Click Google Workspace Marketplace Apps, then click Apps List.
   
3. Under Domain-installed apps, click Zoho Directory.
   
4. Under Data Access, click OAuth Clients and copy the ID number.
   
5. In the left panel, click Security, then click Access and data control, then click API Controls.
   
6. In the Domain-wide delegation section, click MANAGE DOMAIN WIDE DELEGATION.
   
7. Click Add new next to API clients.
   
8. Under Client ID, paste the ID copied in Step 4.
   
9. Under OAuth scopes, enter the values given below in separate fields.

In Zoho Directory: Set up provisioning

Make sure you are logged out of Zoho Directory before you start this configuration for a seamless integration process.

1. From your Google Admin Console, click , scroll down and click Zoho Directory. You will be taken to the login page of Zoho Directory in a new tab.
   
2. Enter your credentials and log in.
   
3. Click Admin Panel in the left menu, go to Applications, then click G Suite.
4. Under Provisioning, click Configure.
   
5. You can map the Zoho Directory fields with the relevant fields in G Suite so that both can be in sync. To do so, select the required fields in the Zoho Directory column, and in the G Suite column, select the relevant fields from the drop-down.
   If you'd like to have a constant value set in G Suite for any field, hover over the field, click Edit, enter the value in the Hardcoded Value field, and click OK.
6. Click Save and Next.
   
7. When you perform certain actions for users in Zoho Directory, you can configure it to get reflected in G Suite as well. Under Settings, select the profile actions that you want to get reflected from among the below:
   
1. Create Users: Users assigned to G Suite in Zoho Directory will be added as new users in G Suite.
   
2. Update User profile: For users who already have an account in G Suite, changes made to the mapped profile fields in Zoho Directory will reflect in G Suite.
   
3. Delete Users: When a user is unassigned from G Suite app in Zoho Directory, the existing user account will be deleted in G Suite.
   
4. Activate and deactivate Users: Activating or deactivating users in Zoho Directory will activate or deactivate them in G Suite. Additionally, users who have an account in G Suite will be activated when they are assigned to the app in Zoho Directory.
   
8. Click Save.
   
9. If you wish to import users from G Suite to Zoho Directory, click Import. It is advisable to import users during initial setup or when activating the app after a while. A list of user profiles that can be imported will be displayed based on the following filters:
   
1. New Users: Users in G Suite who do not have an account in Zoho Directory. Users you select here will be added to Zoho Directory and G Suite will be assigned to them.
   
2. Update User: Users in G Suite who are already present in Zoho Directory. Users you select here will have their profile attributes overwritten with the values from the source profile you choose.
   
   

   Source profile is the profile between Zoho Directory and G Suite from which data will be overwritten to the other account.
3. Users to Activate: Active Users in G Suite who are present in Zoho Directory but are inactive. Users you select here will be activated, and G Suite will be assigned to them.
   
4. Users to Deactivate: Inactive users in G Suite who are present in Zoho Directory but are active. These users will be deactivated in Zoho Directory.
   
10. Click Confirm Assignment.
    
11. Click Done.
