Prerequisites

An aviatrix admin role is required.

Configure SAML in Zoho One/Directory

1. Sign in to Zoho One , then click Directory in the left menu.
2. Go to Marketplace, then click Browse Applications.
3. Use the search bar to find and install Aviatrix.
   

1. Sign in to Zoho Directory , then click Admin Panel in the left menu.
   
2. Go to Applications, then click Add Application.
3. Use the search bar to find and add Aviatrix.
   
   

3. Provide a name for your app and SP Endpoint.

Note: Create an endpoint name for your Aviatrix SAML endpoint which will be used throughout the configuration. This action can be performed only by an Aviatrix admin. Sign in to the Aviatrix Controller, go to Settings > Controller > SAML Login, and click ADD NEW, enter a name for the endpoint, then click OK.

4. Click Add.

5. Click the Single Sign-On tab.

6. Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them if needed.

7. Click Identity Provider Details, then copy the Metadata URL, Issuer, the Sign-in URL, and the X.509 Certificate.

   

Configure SAML in Aviatrix

1. Sign in to the Aviatrix Controller.
   
2. Click Settings in the left navigation panel.
3. Click Controller, then click on the SAML Login tab.
4. Click Edit.
5. Provide the unique Aviatrix Endpoint name.
6. Select URL as the IdP Metadata Type, then paste the previously copied Metadata URL in the IdP Metadata URL field.
7. In the Entity ID field, select Custom, then paste the previously copied Issuer in the Custom Entity ID field.
   
8. In the Access field, select either Admin or Read-only access.
9. Click OK.

Test the SAML connection

1. Return to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
   
2. Go to Applications, then click Aviatrix.
3. Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
4. Click on the   icon next to the app's name. If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to the Aviatrix homepage.
