Prerequisites
An Enterprise account with Bitly
- If you're a Zoho One user:
- Sign in to Zoho One , then click Directory in the left menu.
- Go to Marketplace, then click Browse Applications.
- Use the search bar to find and install Bitly.

- If you're a Zoho Directory user:
- Sign in to Zoho Directory, then click Admin Panel in the left menu.
- Go to Applications, then click Add Application.
- Use the search bar to find and add Bitly.

- If you want to test the SAML configuration before allowing users to access Bitly, uncheck Display app to users. You can later make the app visible to all users.
- Click Add.
- Click the Single Sign-On tab.
- Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them if needed.
- Click Identity Provider Details, then copy the Issuer, the Sign-in URL, and the X.509 Certificate.

- Sign in to Bitly.
- Click Settings in the left menu.
- Under Account settings, click Single sign-on.
- Under Step 1, enter a subdomain for your SSO login page (This name can't be changed later).
- Click Verify.
- Under Step 2, enter the email domain of the users who will have access to the single sign-on (Any email domains you add will need to have at least one verified email address in Bitly).
- (Optional) Under Step 3, select a default group for the new users.
- In Step 4, under Choose your Identity Provider, select Zoho Directory.
- In the IDP URL or Entity ID and Issuer URL fields, paste the Issuer value copied from the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
- In the SAML endpoint and x.509 Certificate fields, paste the Sign-in URL and X.509 Certificate values copied from the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
- Click Save.
Test the SAML connection
- Return to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
- Go to Applications, then click Bitly.
- Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
- Click on the
icon next to the app's name. If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to Bitly's homepage.

Make the app visible to all users
After successfully testing the SSO, you can make Bitly available for all users to access from their My Apps page.
To make Bitly visible to all users:
- Sign in to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
- Go to Applications, then click Bitly.
- Click Unhide.

- You can now access Bitly from Zoho One's My Apps page.
