Clarizen for Zoho Directory

Prerequisites

Administrator access to Clarizen account

Configure SAML in Zoho One/Directory

1.If you're a Zoho One user:
  1. Sign in to Zoho One , then click Directory in the left menu.
  2. Go to Marketplace, then click Browse Applications.
  3. Use the search bar to find and install Clarizen.


2.If you're a Zoho Directory user:
  1. Sign in to Zoho Directory , then click Admin Panel in the left menu.
  2. Go to Applications, then click Add Application.
  3. Use the search bar to find and add Clarizen.


3. Provide a name for your app and domain name.
Note: Your Domain Name is the first part of your Clarizen URL. If your URL is "zylker.clarizen.com", your Domain Name will be "zylker"
4.Click Add.
5.Click the Single Sign-On tab.
6.Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them if needed.
7.Click Identity Provider Details, then copy the Sign-in URL, Sign-out URL and the x.509 Certificate.

Configure SAML in Clarizen

To enable and configure SAML SSO for your Clarizen account:
  1. Log in to your Clarizen domain as an account administrator.
  2. Click on your username in the top-right corner, click Settings, then select Organization.
  3. Go to the Global Settings tab, and under Organization Setting, click Edit beside Federated Authentication.
  4. Under Federated Authentication, in the Sign-in and Sign-out URI field, paste the Sign-in URL and Sign out URL copied from the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
  5. In the Certificate fields, paste the x.509 Certificate copied from the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
  6. Leave all the options unchecked and save the URL given in the option To Login via SSO.
  7. Click Save to save the SAML SSO settings.


Test the SAML connection

Return to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
  1. Go to Applications, then click Clarizen.
  2. Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
  3. Click on the   icon next to the app's name. If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to Clarizen's homepage.

Make app visible to all users

After successfully testing the SSO, you can make Clarizen available for all users to access from their My Apps page.
To make Clarizen visible to all users:
  1. Sign in to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Applications, then click Clarizen.
  3. Click Unhide.

  4. You can now access Clarizen from Zoho Directory's My Apps page.
