People HR for Zoho Directory

Prerequisites

  1. A Professional, Enterprise, or Elite account with People HR

Configure SAML in Zoho One

  1. Sign in to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Marketplace, then use the search bar to find and install People HR.

  3. Name your app and enter your Subdomain.
    4. Note: Your Subdomain is the first part of your People URL. If your URL is "zylker.peoplehr.net", your Subdomain will be "zylker".
  4. If you want to test the SAML configuration before allowing users to access People HR, uncheck Display app to users.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Click Manage Application, then Single Sign-On.
  7. Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them, if needed.
  8. Click Identity Provider Details, then download the IDP Metadata.

Configure SAML in People HR

  1. Sign in to your People HR account.
  2. Click Settings in the sidebar, then click Company.
  3. Upload the IDP Metadata file under Upload 'Single Sign On' SAML meta-data file.

Test the SAML connection

  1. Return to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Applications, then click People HR.
  3. Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
  4. Click . If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to People HR's homepage.

Make app visible to all users

After successfully testing the SSO, you can make People HR available for all users to access from their My Apps pages.

To make People HR visible to all users:
  1. Sign in to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Applications, then click People HR.
  3. Click Edit, check Display app to users, then click Update.
