'Invalid value' in the local account name field

Description

You may encounter this error when you enter an invalid local account name while assigning a user (with no mapped local account) to an enrolled device and while adding a new user.

Reason

The local account name may not be in line with the name policy.

Solution

Change the local account name as per the account naming policy:
  1. The field must not contain spaces.
  2. Only letters ( A to Z ), numbers ( 0 to 9 ), and special characters ( - _ . ) are supported.
