Zoho Directory-synced accounts do not appear on the login screen

Description  

You may encounter this issue when trying to log in to a device enrolled with Zoho Directory's device authentication software. Your local user accounts do not show up on the login screen nor on the Members tab under Device Management in Zoho Directory, even though a compatible Zoho Directory agent has been installed and synced to the device. This issue is likely to occur only in macOS devices.
 

Reason  

The local account that the user attempts to log into might be a mobile account bound to Active Directory. Mobile accounts cannot be managed through Zoho Directory. Mobile accounts can be identified by a tag reading "Mobile" placed next to their name in the Users and Groups section.
 

Solution  

Make sure the local account is managed only by one Directory instance. Write to support@zohoone.com for assistance in unbinding the mobile account from Active Directory and then rebinding it to Zoho Directory for you. We will also help you convert the mobile account into a regular local account. After this, you can map and manage users using this account.
