Trouble shooting tips and tricks
Why am I not able to use the same flow for various events, simultaneously?
In Zoho Backstage, when using triggers such as Attendee checked in, Order created, and Attendee registered for an event, you can select only one specific event at a time. If you have multiple events running, like webinars, workshops, or conferences, and you want to use any of these triggers for all of them, then you would need to create a separate flow for each event.
Can I use multiple event triggers from Zoho Backstage in a single flow?
If you wish to respond to multiple events, such as when a new event is created and when a ticket is cancelled, you'll need to create separate flows for each of these triggers. For example, one flow could handle sending a welcome email when a new event is created, while another flow could notify the organizer when a ticket is cancelled. Trying to combine both triggers in a single flow isn't supported and may cause your flow not to work as expected.
If you're trying to use data from a field that isn't showing up in your flow, check if the field is marked as Hidden in Backstage. To make it available for mapping, ensure the field is visible.
Why am I getting a null error in the Place Order action?
If you encounter a null error while using the Place Order action in Zoho Backstage through Zoho Flow, check whether the email address you're passing belongs to a blocked domain in Backstage. To verify this,
1. Go to your event in Zoho Backstage.
2. Navigate to Registration Settings → Blocked Domains.
3. Ensure the domain of the email address isn’t listed, as blocked domains can prevent the order from being placed successfully.
