How to add a middle name to the Name field on my form?
Including a middle name in the Name field on a form can be particularly useful when you want to capture more detailed or specific information about individuals. For example, if your form is related to identity verification, including a middle name field can be beneficial.
To include middle name in the Name field,
- In your form builder, drag and drop a Name field to your form.
- Open the field Properties.
- Under Name Elements, click the
icon corresponding to the Middle Name element.
- You can choose to make the Middle Name field element mandatory if required by enabling the Mandatory checkbox corresponding to it.
- You can sort the order in which you want the name elements to appear on your form by dragging and re-arranging them under the Name Elements section of properties.
The decision to include a middle name in a form depends on the specific requirements and context of the information you are collecting. In many cases, providing an optional middle name field rather than making it mandatory allows flexibility for users who may not have or prefer not to provide their middle name.
