The Day Availability field allows users to select a bookable date from your calendar. This field is ideal for managing daily quotas and all-day reservations.
When to Use Day Availability
- Daily Quotas: When you need to set a maximum limit on the total number of bookings you accept each day. For example: you can manage workshop registration that accepts 20 bookings on weekdays, 10 bookings on Saturdays and make Sundays unavailable for booking using this field.
- All-Day Reservations: When you need a commitment for a specific day, but not a time. For example, if you manage a party hall booking, this field ensures that once a specific date is booked, it becomes unavailable for others, preventing double bookings for the same day.
Configuring Day Availability Field
- In your form builder, locate the Day Availability field under the Availability section.
- Drag and drop the field onto your form.
- In the Day Availability field configuration popup, configure the two main settings:
Slot Availability

Field Name: Lets you provide a clear title for the field. Example: "Venue Booking"
Allowed Days of Week: This controls which days are available for booking. By default, all days are selected. You can customize it based on your schedule. For example, if Saturday and Sunday are closed for booking, you can uncheck those.
Day Slot Availability: This allows you to set the maximum number of bookings (slot limit) you accept per day.
- Default: This sets a standard daily limit for all allowed days of the week. Example: Setting the limit to 10 will ensure all allowed days have a maximum of 10 bookings each.
- Custom: This allows you to set a different daily limit for each allowed day of the week. For example, Monday 10 slot bookings, Tuesday 20 slot bookings, and so on.
Once you're done, click Next.
Live Preferences

Button Label: This is the text displayed on the button the user clicks to open the calendar. Example: "Book Now".
In the Preview, you can check how the button will appear on the live form.
Message on Reaching Maximum Slot Limit: Provide a message to be displayed to respondents when the maximum daily limit is reached for a particular date. Example -"This date is fully booked. Please select another date."
Once done, click Create. The field will now be created in the form.
After creating the field, click on it to access its properties panel. Here, you can perform the following customizations:
Field Label: Provide a descriptive name to your field. Example: Venue Booking
Week Starts On: Select your preferred day for the calendar week to begin with. For example, if you select Monday as the start of the week, the calendar will start from Monday.
Allowed Dates: This controls the timeframe during which the bookings are accepted.
- Start From: Here, you can provide a specific date or select the Date of Response as the start date. If you select Date of Response as the start date, you can click Additional Options to delay the booking start. If a user opens the form on November 1st, setting the delay to +10 Days means the first available slot they can choose is November 11th.
- Ends On: Here, you can define the last date available for booking.
Note:
- By default, the booking window starts from the Date of Response and extends to 120 days thereafter.
- The range between the Start and End dates cannot exceed 120 days.
- Availability Settings: All configurations done during the initial field creation (Slot Availability, Live Preference) can be edited here.
- View Stats: After receiving responses, click View Stats to monitor your bookings. This provides a detailed view of the number of slots booked and the remaining slots available for each day.

- Under Validation, you can mark the fields as mandatory by selecting the Mandatory option.
