GeoComplete

The GeoComplete field enables users to autofill an entire address in a single line. This is ideal when you need to capture complete address information quickly without splitting the address elements across multiple input fields.

When to use GeoComplete field
  1. Quick Registrations: When you need a fast sign-up process and require capturing a full, verified address with minimal friction.
  2. Single Address Input: When you only need the complete address and don't require the individual components (Street, City, State, ZIP) to be mapped to separate database columns.
Configuring GeoComplete field 

To add and configure the GeoComplete field in your form:
  1. Go to your form builder and locate the GeoComplete field under the Basic Info section.
  2. Drag and drop the field on your form.
  3. In the field properties, under Auto-fill Address with, select Zoho Maps or Google Maps as the desired map service to fill the address.
  4. Click Save to add the field to your form.

To use Google Maps to auto-fill the field, configure the Google Maps Connection under the Control Panel.

Field Properties:

GeoComplete Properties


Field Label: The name displayed to the user above the input fields. For example, Address.
Instructions: Add specific guidance to help users understand the field's purpose.
Placeholder Text: Provide a placeholder text to enhance user guidance and set expectations for respondents. Placeholder text serves as a temporary example or hint within the form fields.
Auto-fill address with: Auto-fill improves user convenience by suggesting and automatically filling address fields based on user input. To configure, select Zoho Maps or Google Maps as the map service under Auto-fill address with.
Allowed Countries: Tailor the available country options to display only the relevant countries for your audience or the specific context of your form.
Validation
Mandatory: Ensure that respondents cannot submit the form without entering the data in this field.
