Zoho Forms' CAPTCHA is a simple security check that ensures only human users can submit the form by preventing bot access.
By default, the CAPTCHA displays a sequence of intentionally distorted alphanumeric characters in an image. Bots struggle to interpret this warped text, but a human can usually read it and type the correct sequence into the field to pass the check. If the characters don't match, the user is prompted to try again, effectively blocking the bot from submitting the form.
In addition to the standard text-based check, Zoho Forms offers a variety of interactive challenge types. These interactive challenges initially display an "I'm not a robot" checkbox on the form. Once checked, a verification popup appears requiring to solve a task, such as completing a puzzle, solving a math equation, or aligning a shape, to confirm the user is human.
Zoho Forms offers 13 challenge types, many of which are interactive and difficult for bots to solve. For all challenge types except Text CAPTCHA, you will find a preview of how the challenge appear to the respondents.
