How to auto-disable a form link upon reaching the entry limit

Zoho Forms lets you limit the number of responses submitted for a form. This prevents you from being swamped with more responses than you need and saves your time from shortlisting the respondents.

Let's say you are hosting a Webinar with a maximum capacity of 100 participants. Collecting participants' details beyond the limit is a wasted effort. Thus, limiting the responses keeps unnecessary hardship in check by disabling the form link once the limit is reached.

To enable this:
  1. In your form builder, navigate to the Settings tab > General > Form Availability.
  1. Under Restrict by Submissionselect Restrict Number of Submissions.

Enter the maximum number of responses that you are going to accept in Maximum submission limit and provide a message to display on reaching the limit in Message on reaching limit.

The above form will now allow a maximum of 100 responses and shows the message when someone tries to access the form once the limit is reached.

How to reactivate my form after reaching the submission limit

To reactivate your form and continue collecting valuable data, simply increase the submission limit. This adjustment allows you to specify the maximum number of submissions your form can receive. By setting a new, higher limit, you'll unlock the ability to collect additional submissions without encountering any restrictions.
