Microsoft Power Automate Integration
Microsoft Power Automate (previously known as Microsoft Flow) is a cloud automation tool that helps users create workflows to automate repetitive tasks. These workflows help users connect different applications and services with the help of connectors.
The integration of Zoho Forms with the Microsoft Power platform will help users automate form workflows and perform actions such as creating records in other apps when new form entries are submitted, updating databases, sending notifications, and triggering multi-step processes. The Zoho Forms connector in the MS Power platform works based on a trigger and action model, helping users streamline data collection and processing workflows.
Pre-requisties
- A valid Zoho Forms account
- An active Microsoft Power Automate account
- A published form in Zoho Forms to collect data
To start building workflows, you must first establish a connection between the two platforms:
- Navigate to the Integrations tab > Developer & Automation> Automation Services.
- Under Available Services, hover over Microsoft Power Automate and click Connect option as shown.

- Log in to your Microsoft Power Automate account.
- Navigate to Connections on the left sidebar.
- Click + New connection and search for Zoho Forms.
- Select the Domain where your Zoho account is hosted (e.g., .com, .eu, .in).
- Enter your Zoho credentials and click Accept to authorize Microsoft Power Automate to access your form data.
Note:
- Even if the Power App is shared with another user, that user must create their connection using their own Zoho credentials.
- Zoho Forms API uses OAuth2.0 to authenticate and hence no secondary authentication is required once the account has been set up.
- Log in to your Power Automate account and click Create from the left menu.
- To configure an automated workflow using Zoho Forms, choose the Automated cloud flow option.
- In the Build an automated cloud flow pop-up, search for Zoho Forms in the trigger search box.
- Select When form gets a response trigger and click Create.

- Choose your Zoho Forms account and select the specific form under Link name of form to which you want to monitor for new submissions for creating workflows.
- Click on the + icon to add an action that will be executed when a response is submitted.

- Search and choose the destination app (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
- Configure the action with the form field mappings from Zoho Forms to your destination app.
- Based on the workflow configured, when a new form entry is submitted in Zoho Forms, the specified action will be performed automatically in the connected application.
The Zoho Forms connector in Power Automate provides an easy integration of your online forms to any other applications, automatically triggering actions across multiple business applications based on the workflow configured.
