Streamline service status with field rules
A repair company uses a form to collect repair statuses from service workers for different appliances. The company wants to dynamically display relevant fields based on service start, urgency level, and repair status to the workers and help them take different actions based on the status.
Configuring field rules to help the workers capture the exact service status
- Navigate to Rules tab.
- Under Field Rules, click on Configure Now
- If the Service Status is selected as Not Started
- Show Priority field
- If Priority is selected as High
- Show Worker field
- If the Service Status is selected as Started
- Show Time Tracking field
- If the Service Status is selected as Completed
- Show Rating and Customer Signature field
Why this works
Dynamic form interaction: Ensure that only relevant fields are displayed, making the form concise and user-friendly.
Status capture: The inclusion of a signature field for status checks (e.g., service completed or pending) fosters transparency and ensures customer acknowledgment for critical stages.
